- Download the Request For Tapered Quote Form, fill out the information sheet, and email it with the roof plan to your assigned Tapered Estimator or the email address listed below.
- Make sure you include the job name, job location, bid date, roofing contractor and contact information, desired slope, insulation minimum starting thickness, and material type.

24-72 hours from when we receive all the correct information.
What information do you need?
The bare minimum required via the Tapered Request Form is:
- Roof plan that is to scale
- Job name, location and bid date
- Tapered slope and material type
- Minimum starting thickness and R-value
- Contractor and contact information
Can you get the take-off back to me within 24 hours?
Possibly. This will depend on the current workload of the tapered team, bid date, and overall complexity of the job.
Can you email the completed tapered estimate and/or shop drawings to me so I can send them to the customer?
Yes, this is our preferred method of communication.
What if I do not have an architectural roof plan to scale, can I submit a hand drawing of the roof?
Yes, this is commonly done in re-roof situations. Make sure the roofing contractor that is bidding the project has included on the drawing; drainage direction, drain locations, and accurate roof dimensions.
What if I need revisions to a job that has already been quoted?
Tapered estimating is both an art and science, and there can be many designs used to move water off the roof on the same project. Just let us know what revisions are needed, and we will accommodate your request.
