RRP Rule

Beginning April 22, 2010 contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead dust contamination.

Below you’ll find useful links to help you understand and comply with the RRP Rule.

Training & Certification

The RRP Rule requires that all contractors who will disturb lead-based paint within the target housing or child occupied facilities provide training and certification to a portion of their staff as Certified Lead Renovators.
