Over $3 Million Raised for Homes For Our Troops

Category:

The Indianapolis 500 has long been considered the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing,” and this year’s race more than lived up to expectations. Our No. 14 AJ Foyt Racing Chevrolet driven by Santino Ferrucci proudly repped Homes For Our Troops and raced to an impressive third-place finish.

What made this race and Indy car even more special was that they were part of a fundraising campaign where we rallied more than $2 million in donations for Homes For Our Troops throughout the month of May. With our $1 million match, together we donated over $3 million to Homes For Our Troops (HFOT).

Take a look at some of the highlights from this year’s fundraising campaign.

Our Indy car donned a patriotic stars-and-stripes-clad design which included the HFOT logo.

Homes For Our Troops Veterans in attendance got to tour the Indy 500 garage and get an up-close look at the Indy car.

Whether watching from home or at the race, all eyes were glued to the track as Santino started P4 and had a thrilling finish, placing third.

Homes For Our Troops Veteran Adam Kisielewski experienced the fabled Yard of Bricks, one of the most famous spots in motorsports in the world.

The AJ Foyt Racing team was all smiles behind the No. 14 Indy car.

We’re proud to have been a part of this team and racing for this amazing cause. What made the weekend even more special was celebrating alongside HFOT Veterans in attendance.

Tony Doyle, an HFOT Veteran who experienced race weekend, had this to share, “Diane Hendricks, ABC Supply, associates and customers — thank you for the magnificent experience at the Indy 500. The adrenaline, excitement and Santino Ferrucci have made me a forever race fan. Thank you for your generosity and all you do for Homes For Our Troops. Without it, ‘Building Homes and Rebuilding Lives’ wouldn’t be possible.”

Thank you to everyone who cheered on our No. 14 Indy car and supported Homes For Our Troops over the past month. We’re so grateful for your support that will make a meaningful impact for Homes For Our Troops and help them build homes and build lives for more Veterans.
