How We Gave Back Through Make-A-Wish in 2022

Ways We Made a Difference by Granting Wishes for 5 Kids

At ABC Supply, we’re all about making dreams come true, but we’re not just invested in the dreams of our associates or customers. We’re also committed to helping grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses through Make-A-Wish®.

Wishes impact everyone involved. For wish kids, having a wish come true can give them the courage to comply with medical treatments. For parents, seeing their child enjoy their wish can provide hope for brighter days ahead. For volunteers and donors like us, knowing we’re making a difference in the lives of children and families who need it most is a source of everlasting joy.

Since we became a Make-A-Wish Champion Sponsor in 2020, ABC Supply has helped grant wishes for over 300 kids across the country. In 2022, we helped these five kids realize their dreams:

Genesis, an 8-year-old with cancer, wished for a backyard treehouse. The ABC Supply team in Coal Valley, Illinois, helped make her wish come true by donating materials. With her new treehouse, Genesis gets to play outside and enjoy being a kid.

7-year-old Nicole is in remission from a brain tumor. Her wish was to be a figure skater. With help from Make-A-Wish, ABC Supply and a team of professional figure skaters, Nicole’s wish came true and she got to glide on the ice.

Jacob, who is diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder, wished to have his own train set. “Jacob smiled when he saw his train set for the first time,” said his mother. “It makes my heart happy to see Jake smiling so much.”

Levi, a 9-year-old who is in remission from a brain tumor, wished for a gaming computer. With help from Make-A-Wish Oklahoma, his wish came true and he now has a state-of-the-art setup that allows him to enjoy his games.

9-year-old Adlie, a recipient of a bone marrow transplant, wished to ski a black diamond run at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area in California. With help from Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire and ABC Supply, Adlie was able to swish down the slopes.

Knowing we’ve been able to transform these kids’ lives and create memories for them and their families warms our hearts. Our support of Make-A-Wish is just one of the ways that ABC Supply lives out our Give Back Core Value by making a difference.
