ABC Supply Co. Inc. Expands Military Recruitment Efforts

Company hired nearly 400 veterans in 2018; committed to hiring more in 2019

BELOIT, Wis.—May 2, 2019 In honor of National Military Appreciation Month, ABC Supply is announcing expanded veteran recruitment efforts to help make the transition to civilian life easier for those who have served. The exterior building products distributor has hired over 800 military veterans since 2017 and is working with organizations such as RecruitMilitary and Military.com to employ more veterans in the future.

We’re doing our part to give them that opportunity.”

The essential skills veterans learn while serving—including leadership, problem solving, attention to detail and communication—are a great fit for the projects that ABC Supply associates execute on a daily basis. For veterans interested in driver positions, they may be eligible for the Military Skills Test Waiver that allows them to bypass the skills-testing portion of a commercial driver’s license.
